Renovate a one-bed house that required a new kitchen, an enhanced bathroom, and decorating throughout. This house was a rental property and the work was performed in conjunction with the Landlord and letting the agent in Haywards Heath, Mid Sussex.

The replacement kitchen had to occupy the same space in the open-plan layout. The use of a minimalist kitchen featuring a handless design would be both practical and stylish. Finished with a solid Oak worktop.

Whilst perfectly function the old bathroom had a white bath with a peach sink and toilet. Hardly appealing to prospective new tenants. Larger white tiles provided a clean look and the use of a decorative border strip provided an elegant feel.  The old sink and toilet were replaced with simple white units matching the existing bath.

The project had to be performed in a timely fashion, between tenancies and at a price that provided a return on the landlord's investment. Materials were chosen that were 'off the shelf', likely to be in stock for a long time, easily matchable and repairable if needed.
